On the morning of October15,Liu Yi, serving as the President of the University, was accompanied by Tian Lei,the Deputy Director of the Party and Political Office, for a visit to the college of Marxism. The purpose of this visit was to conduct an investigation and to engage in discussions with the college's leadership team, a symposium presided over by Tang Zhenhua, Party secretary of the school of Marxism.

During the symposium, Dean Li Haibo provided an overview of the college's fundamental status and presented a report on the measures implemented, the outcomes achieved, the challenges encountered, and the strategic directions for future development. Other team members offered supplementary reports concerning their specific areas of responsibility. Liu Yi expressed approval of the college's achievements, emphasizing the pivotal role that ideological and political education plays in fostering moral integrity and cultivating individuals. He also highlighted the need to enhance the construction of Marxist education and outlined precise expectations. In his closing remarks, Tang Zhenhua underscored the importance of acting upon the directives provided by President Liu Yi, with the aim of further advancing the high-quality progression of the college.

Following the symposium, Liu Yi and his entourages, joined by members of the college's team,conducted an on-site inspection of the college's office facilities.
