At the critical moment of life, whether to further study, choose employment, or study abroad,  School of Computer Science successfully held a series of activities of “Hundred Famous Enterprises on Campus” in Runliang Lecture Hall of the Academic Exchange Center of South-Central Minzu University at 6:00 p.m. on Dec. 6, 2024, and invited Wang Dingtao, the Human Resources Director of the Central China Region of SZIT, to give a lecture on career planning. Wang Dingtao was invited to give a lecture on career planning, which was attended by about 280 students majoring in Computer Science and Technology, Network Engineering and Artificial Intelligence of Grade 2023. The lecture was hosted by Wang Weifang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee of the College.

Mr. Wang Dingtao, with the theme of the future of the job face, analyzed the current employment situation from the average social salary surveys, layoffs of head enterprises in various industries, as well as the size of the graduates and the employment situation, he pointed out that the current rapid development of social and economic development, the choice of graduation track determines the future direction of life, the face of the ever-changing era of science and technology, we must respond to change with planning, do not hesitate, do not get frustrated, do not get lost, do not panic, keep love,  enrich yourself, enhance your strength, and keep building up your strength.

At the same time, he focused on “from campus people to enterprise people” and introduced the work scene, team atmosphere, work performance, career development and multi-dimensional ability comparison between students and employees, encouraging students to make good psychological preparation, ability reserve and role change; based on SMART goal setting, he guided students to be result-oriented and to go beyond the students' role.
