On September 7th, 2024, the orientation activities of the School of Computer Science at South-Central Minzu University officially kicked off. The freshmen from all over the country entered the campus full of passion. Zuntao Ke, the Party Committee Secretary of the School of Computer Science, Weifang Wang, the Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Wei Tian and Xiao Zhang, the Vice Deans, visited the orientation stations to guide the orientation work and ensure the smooth registration of new students.

At 10 o'clock in the morning, under the leadership of Secretary Ke, the school leaders had a detailed understanding of the enrollment status of the new students and showed concern for their feelings when stepping into the university campus. Vice Deans Wei Tian and Xiao Zhang sincerely extended their regards to the orientation volunteers and class assistants, inquired about the progress of the work, paid attention to the real-time number of registered students, and implemented the details of the work.

At the "Dance of Fire" Square of South-Central Minzu University, the class assistants and volunteers of each class of the 2024 grade in the School of Computer Science were all ready to go. They provided registration guidance services for the new students here, distributed military training uniform collection vouchers, helped the new students complete various enrollment tasks, and led the new students to tour the campus to get familiar with the campus environment.

The college life is a golden period for students' development. The School of Computer Science has always adhered to putting students first, truly caring about what students need, and endowing student work with warmth. The care from the school leaders and orientation workers has enabled the new students to find support in the brand-new campus environment, feel the warmth and enthusiasm of the School of Computer Science, and at the same time helped them adapt to the university environment more quickly and find the best learning state.
