On June 22, 2024, a delegation of six members from the Intelligent Vehicle Laboratory of Hubei University of Education came to the Intelligent Vehicle Laboratory of the School of Computer Science for an exchange.
The visitors first toured the track layout and infrastructure of the School of Computer Science's Intelligent Vehicle Laboratory. The lab members provided a detailed introduction to the design concepts, construction techniques, and various equipment used for testing intelligent vehicles.

Following the tour, both sides held a seminar to share updates on their current projects. They engaged in an in-depth discussion of the technical challenges encountered during the competition preparations and proposed several feasible solutions.

Finally, lab members conducted a live demonstration of the intelligent vehicle on the track. Both sides closely monitored the vehicle's operational status and recorded any issues that arose during the demonstration. Afterward, a lively discussion took place to address the problems that emerged during the demonstration.

"Open communication" is an essential part of developing engineers, and this exchange provided an opportunity for the two schools' intelligent vehicle laboratories to grow closer, allowing both groups of students to gain valuable insights.
It is reported that the Intelligent Vehicle Laboratory of the School of Computer Science has been organizing student participation in the National College Student Intelligent Vehicle Competition for many years, winning numerous provincial and national-level awards. In 2022, it was designated as a Popular Science Education Base by the Chinese Association of Automation.
