On April 18th, in response to national policy guidance, and in order to strengthen the university-enterprise cooperation mechanism and enhance the employment rate and job quality of graduates in their professional fields, Ke Zuntao, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Computer Science, Tian Wei, Vice Dean of the School, along with all the teachers from the Department of Automation and Mechanics, conducted an in-depth visit to Gree Electric Appliances (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. They researched the operation of the company’s modern production lines, carried out job expansion activities, and held a discussion with General Manager Wang Xianghong, Operations Manager Shi Zhe, and other relevant leaders from Gree Electric Appliances (Wuhan) Co., Ltd.

The delegation from the School of Computer Science had an immersive, comprehensive experience at Gree Electric Appliances (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., where they observed the operation of the smart factory and fully automated production lines. They gained an in-depth understanding and firsthand experience of Gree's development history, corporate culture, strategic business layout, and the widespread application of intelligent manufacturing technologies.

During the symposium, General Manager Wang Xianghong and Director Shi Zhe from the Operation Management Department of Gree Electric Appliances provided a detailed introduction to the company’s history, industrial system development, and current talent needs. They emphasized that, in a rapidly changing industry environment, the company's requirements for talent are constantly evolving. Gree Electric Appliances has long strengthened its in-depth cooperation with several domestic universities, accumulating rich practical experience in talent development. They expressed their willingness to enhance close cooperation with the School of Computer Science of South-Central Minzu University, hoping that both sides can fully leverage their respective strengths and resources to jointly explore a path of shared development, mutual benefit, and win-win cooperation.
